Nowadays, there is a great diversity of garden fences on the market. You can find them in different shapes, materials, heights, colors, etc. The choice will be based, mainly, on the use you want to give it. The decoration of the fence will influence the aesthetics of the garden, the same model of fence can look totally different.
Wire fence. In more than one house, this type of fences composed of crisscrossed wires are placed. Although they are not very showy, if you intend to have a high fence, it is one of the best options. If you want privacy, you can let a few vines grow on them, which will also provide shade.
A fence with a vertical garden. If the support structure can support a certain weight and, in addition, has a slit or surface where to hang pots, you can manage to create a garden area in the fence itself. In this case, they have chosen small pots with dry land plants placed vertically. Don't you think it's original?
Wooden fences are the most common. They are very decorative and offer the possibility of being decorated in multiple ways. For example, you can use them to surround your pool and place several shrubs or small fir trees to bring a more natural look to your garden.
Hanging baskets on the wooden slats. With this option we gain color and joy. We give the wood a touch of spring thanks to the pots full of flowers. In addition, this way of bringing color to the garden has the advantage that it does not take up useful space on the ground.
Wooden stakes. Sometimes our garden is sufficiently protected from the outside, but we need to separate environments. To separate the pool area from the rest of the garden, logs of different heights have been placed to differentiate the task of sunbathing from that of taking a dip.
Ornamental trellises. This type of ornaments are attached to virtually any structure, because they are easily hooked to the top. As you can see in the image, they bring a lot of elegance to the garden. The hooks that make up the patterns allow the placement of vines and other plants.
Framing recycled vases. This fence wouldn't tell us anything if it didn't have ornaments. The garden is one of the areas of our home that best lends itself to be decorated with recycled elements. In this case, we have chosen several wooden frames and aluminum cans converted into vases.
Add a vintage touch to your garden with an old bicycle. You can restore it a bit or leave it with its current aged look. In the case of this space, they have replaced the saddle with a vintage basket full of flowers, and have changed the handlebars for a metal container reminiscent of the old milkmaids.
Decorate the fence with figures made with wrought iron. It is very easy to turn your fence into a real work of art like the one created in this garden. The wrought iron flowers intermingle with the natural ones as if they were part of the same vegetation.
A fence decorated with string art. Walls are not the only surfaces that can be decorated with string art. In this garden they have created a very original space with words. In front of the fence we see a vintage-looking chair that will surely accompany a set of table and chairs in the same style.
The wicker fences bring a very natural look and fit perfectly with the boho chic decor of the garden. They have added several garlands with lights around the fence that add an even more bohemian touch to the ambiance. The colorful fabrics with ethnic and floral prints and the plants in each corner of the sofa add color.
Metal fences. It is a bold option for the garden, as it is more associated with industrial aesthetics. If complemented with plant species it subtracts a bit of coldness to the environment. In this garden they have combined this structure with plant species.
Gabions or wire walls are another alternative to preserve the garden. It is a very economical solution, as they are metal meshes that are filled with stones simulating the aesthetics of a masonry wall. They are perfect for gardens with a modern aesthetic.
A fence with coconut shells. Gabion fences can be filled with different materials, not only with stones. The coconut brings a very natural and unique air to the garden that contrasts very well with the green vegetation and the armchairs. They have created different structures and shapes on the wall and on the floor, where they have combined gravel, stone in light tones and wood.
Stone fence. More than a fence, with this type of material you can create a wall. However, the most commonly used alternative is to combine one part with stones and another with metallic structures that usually serve as a gate. The stone fence fits very well with the fairytale atmosphere that floods this small garden.
