There are certain elements in a house that always fall into oblivion, and that always end up being indispensable in every home.
One of them is the towel rack in the bathroom, we have a very well distributed sink cabinet, next to the shower and, in front, the toilet along with a storage column, but when we want to realize we always ask ourselves the same question: Where do I put the towel?
The same happens with the ladder (little used, but sooner or later we end up remembering it), the ironing board, the clothesline and the protagonist that today leads us to write this post: the laundry basket.
As we say, we tend to forget about it when we are planning a whole house to move into.
It is true that there are much more important things but, once they are all solved, it is time to face the "little things". So for all those multiple cases in which there is no choice but to leave the basket in sight, we have compiled a series of examples that can look great to be seen.
The first thing that comes to mind when the basket has to be seen is that it should have a lid so that the chaos that takes place inside can't be seen.
In this sense, we can find models of different materials, with the cover "removable" or attached to the structure at one end.
For the most daring there are baskets with exposed grid structure, although we know that even among the most daring there are those who are somewhat restrained, so for them there are the grid baskets with an inner basket of fabric.
This type of model is ideal for removing the bag and transporting it to the washing machine if we have it far away. In addition, they usually have a closing system so that nothing comes out on the way.
And if we have to transport the whole basket, nothing better than a model with handles for better handling.
In this respect there is a great variety, and it is often a motif that contributes positively to the design of the basket.
And since it has to be in sight, why not play with its design? It is very useful to play with the shape of its structure.
There are very curious models with a cross-shaped structure, either wood or metal, on which a textile bag is attached. The color and fabric of the same are in charge of doing the rest to be more in line with one style or another.
And as we do not want to leave aside the location of the baskets, in those houses that have the luxury of having a laundry room, we see one of the best solutions is to have not only one laundry basket, but two or three units.
They can be placed under a countertop and can be equipped with wheels for better handling.
And of course, if we have a space in a piece of furniture, whether in the laundry room, bathroom or kitchen, there is nothing better than placing the basket, as a pull-out, inside it.
The space will be cleaner and tidier and we will not have to worry so much about aesthetics.
As you can see, there is no need to panic if we have forgotten the laundry basket in the beginning. We can always choose a design in keeping with the aesthetics of the space to leave it visible.
