Both materials are usually present in rustic style lamps. They are natural materials that bring warmth to the fixture and give an antique yet modern feel to any environment.

You can use the wood as a support to fix it to the wall, and the rope to pass the cable inside (in which case it must be thick), or, if you prefer, use it to surround the bulb container, as a decorative element.

Cup sconces

Very characteristic of the vintage style, this type of sconces are more voluminous than the previous ones, as they protrude quite a bit from the wall and contain the bulb in a semicircular bowl.

The advantage of this type of sconces is that they do not have to remain fixed, as they can be moved up and down, forward or backward with a simple twist of the arm, adapting to the lighting needs of the moment.
