If we have a large amount of toiletries and beauty products, we should opt for a large dressing table with good storage space, in order to have everything at hand in the smallest possible space. Here we find the compact dressers with drawers or top-opening.

b) Exempt

If, on the other hand, we do not have many products, a freestanding vanity will do the job perfectly. The compact ones have a more robust look while the freestanding ones can be considered as another piece of decoration, thanks to their light and casual character.

On the other hand, halogen recessed spotlights in the ceiling are not recommended at all, as they create a lot of shadows downwards, so we recommend avoiding this option.

b) The mirror

The mirror is probably the element that most clearly distinguishes a dressing table from a simple desk or console table, which is why it is essential to choose it carefully.

It should always go hand in hand with the lighting, adapting to the chosen type and not vice versa, so it is best to first choose the type of light we want for the dressing table and, based on this, select the mirror. However, there is always a maxim: the wider, the better we will look.

In any case, the mirror will give the touch of grace to our dressing table and that is why it should match the decorative style of the rest of the bedroom. c) The seat

The seat is the last step that remains to complete our particular corner of beauty. In this aspect you will have to look for the most comfortable format for you, without forgetting that its shape, material and color must be in accordance with the rest of the decoration of the bedroom where it will be located.

Once the style is clear, you can opt for a sturdy seat like a pouf, a chair with arms or a classic armchair, or opt for lighter options such as a methacrylate chair or a backless stool. As you can see, there are different colors for every taste (and comfort).
